Selective Laser Melting
SLM Printing
SLM is a method of manufacturing workpieces that uses a laser to melt metal powders and metal alloys, ultimately creating a three-dimensional object.
The manufactured parts are built by spreading(spreading) thin layers of metal powder on a base plate in the machine's working chamber.
Our products are produced from medically certified metal powders: chrome-cobalt alloy and titanium alloy using a world-class SLM printer. The works produced by SLM technology are ideal for dental ceramic surfacing.
Advantages of the method
The use of the SLM method significantly speeds up the process of obtaining new solutions and makes it possible to obtain parts with complex shapes, while ensuring:
-
high accuracy,
-
strength and tightness.

SLM printing process
Stage 1. Spreading the material in powder form with the help of an arm (blade).
Stage 2. Start the laser melting process by directing the laser beam to the surface of the spread metal powder. The result is the melting of the contour path and the filling of the contour of the printed object layer.
Stage 3. After the layer is melted, the base plate is lowered by an equal preset value with the simultaneous spreading of a new layer of metal powder.
Stage 4. Repeat all steps until the workpiece is completely manufactured.
